China's top political advisor Jia Qinglin on Friday attended the closing ceremony of the month-long ethnic arts joint performance and awarded prizes to the winners.
Jia, Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee, attended the event held at the Jingxi Hotel in downtown Beijing. After awarding ceremony, Jia watched the closing performance.
A total of 6,700 artists from the total 56 ethnics joined the fourth ethnic arts joint performance, providing 41 plays to the audience. Almost 120,000 watched on the scene, and more than 100 million audience watched the performances with TV.
