The Sheraton Beijing Dongcheng Hotel recently launched the Sheraton Social Hour, a program offering its guests a wide selection of premium wines available at the hotel's lobby bar.
Created and developed by leading wine experts and the Sheraton's global food and beverage team, the program is designed to foster social communication among guests, who can bond over an appreciation of good wine.
"Our goal is to become a destination for a great wine experience, no matter where your travels are taking you," said Vincent Ong, director of brand management for Sheraton & Westin in the Asia-Pacific region.
As a participant of Sheraton's global program, the Sheraton Beijing Dongcheng Hotel will host the evening Social Hour tasting events at the lobby lounge three times a week.
It will feature three pours of 50 ml premium wines from around the world from 88 yuan ($14).
To ensure wine quality, each glass is served in Stolzle stemware to enhance the wine's flavor and aroma.
"Sheraton Beijing Dongcheng Hotel is delighted to be a part of the Sheraton Social Hour," said the hotel's general manager Vincent Thong.
"We hope that our Social Hour tasting events at Lobby Lounge will offer our guests and residents of Beijing opportunities to get together for a world-class wine experience," he continued.
