During last Friday's morning rush hour in Chongqing's Nan'an district, a BMW, driven by a woman named Chen, raced against a train. Police stopped the car and found its license plate was covered. Chen was fined 200 yuan ($30) and deducted six points for violating traffic regulations.

On Wednesday, a man complained online that his wife was never late for work by taking the train, but she still wanted a car.

Chen responded that he should buy his wife a car.  In order to prove that driving a car is faster, Chen told the man she would race against the train.

She spent 30 minutes driving, wile the man spent 25 minutes taking the train. She thought she could win because of the traffic and the time it takes to buy a ticket and to enter and exit the station.
