The players charged include Wang Xiaoli and Yu Yang from China, Meiliana Jauhari and Greysia Polli from Indonisia, as well as Jung Kyung Eun and Kim Ha Na, Ha Jung Eun and Kim Min Jung from South Korea.

BWF's disciplinary committee will hold a formal hearing Wednesday morning, after which a decision will be made.

Substandard performances of these players were booed when they missed services and shots from each other.
