The Dalai Lama is to visit Japan from November 3 to 14, Japan's Kyodo news agency reported Monday. He is scheduled to make speeches in the cities of Yokohama and Naha and also travel to Tokyo and Kanazawa, the report said.

The Dalai Lama also made trips to Japan in 2009 and 2011.

China has repeatedly said that the Dalai Lama is a political exile, who has long been engaged in anti-China separatist activities under the guise of religion and that issues related to Tibet are China's internal affairs. China also firmly opposes the use of Tibet as a wedge for foreign parties to interfere in China's internal affairs.
