The third Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Cup for men will be held from September 1-7 in Vietnam's Vinh Phuc Province, some 40 km north of capital Hanoi, local media reported Friday.

The event drew the participation of eight teams divided into two groups. Group A includes Vietnam, South Korea, Japan and Myanmar. Group B includes China, Australia, India and Iran.

The AVC Cup for men is held biennial with the participation of Asian's top eight teams.
