An international flight from Zurich to Beijing was forced to turn back on Sunday after a fight broke out between two Chinese passengers, Xinhua reported.

The Swiss International Airlines flight was preparing for a stopover in Moscow after over six hours in the air when a fist fight broke out between the two passengers, the World Radio Switzerland reported.

The Chinese passengers, aged 29 and 57, were later arrested by Zurich police. Zurich Cantonal Police spokesperson Werner Schaub said alcohol clearly played a role in the altercation, according to Xinhua.

@圆小蛋: They disgraced themselves while abroad.

@随手拍解救空姐: We urgently need to improve the image of Chinese tourists.

@新生报到5441705: Will they have to pay for the company's losses?

@简单爱940595: Every country has people with no class. But it's rare that a fight would force a plane to turn back. We need to wait for the truth to come out. Maybe this has all been exaggerated.

@记忆的空822063: Passengers like them should be severely punished. Strict laws and rules should be established, or there will be more people causing trouble like this and disrupting flights.
