In a recent online posting, a female college graduate surnamed Yang posted an experience she had at a job interview, astonishing many netizens with the requirements set forth for candidates.

She wrote that she had been happy to find a listing for female product managers with a degree in marketing, and that the job paid 5,000 yuan ($790) a month. However, when Yang, from Dongguan, Guangdong Province, went to her interview, she found that one of the requirements was that candidates have had more than one sexual partner.

The company's recruitment officer, Wu, told the Southern Metropolis Daily that this requirement is in fact essential to the nature of the position.

Wu explained that the company produces female sex toys, and that product managers must have sexual experience, acquaint themselves with the products, and help the company improve them.

"We ask candidates whether they fulfill all the requirements, and then continue the interview after we get the answer," Wu said.
