Many believed China's economy to have already reached market bottom and expected it to recover after reading the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on October 22. However, I think such ideas are groundless. China's current economic model has already been sucked dry, and if we continue on the same path we may face a dead end.

Reform is the only way out. However, economic reform cannot be carried out successfully if political reform does not take place.

China's development might find ourselves in trouble if reforms are not successfully implemented, but if we're successful economic growth might slow down. It is not possible to propel the growth with an economy driven by consumption alone.

@和君张磊:As logistics curves illustrate, factors that push things forward can also bring them down to the bottom. It is urgent we carry out economic reform in China to create a rising curve in the nation's economy. Since we have already created an economic miracle by making use of the large population, it is possible for us to create another wonder through political reform.

@我心halifax:I think China's economy will continue to slide in the coming three to five years. Honestly, we still have great potential to boost the economy by partitioning the market according to consumer demand. However, we need to establish a mechanism to protect intellectual property, the absence of which may result a lack of investment and an economic recession.

@刘洋l:There is no way out of China's economic impasse of China on its own. China relied on its reform and opening-up policy in the past, but now its "opening-up" policy faces global economic woes while its "reform" is restricted by the system. Generally, I believe that we have a long way to go to breach the systemic limitations in place.
