A 21-year-old woman is missing and feared dead after she jumped into the Suzhou Creek Tuesday following a fight with her boyfriend.

The woman's 27-year-old boyfriend followed her into the river, but was unable to save her.

He then had to be rescued by a passerby and local police.  Police said the Suzhou Creek is four to five meters deep in some places with strong currents.
