Bolivia's La Paz state government Tuesday presented China's ambassador to Bolivia Li Dong with 10 projects, hoping to secure investment and cooperation from China for industrial, production and food development.

"The meeting with China's ambassador is positive and we are certain these projects are going to be undertaken in the short- and medium-term," La Paz Governor Cesar Cocarico told reporters after meeting Li at the state government's headquarters.

The projects include Bolivia's first state-run Kallutaca Industrial Park, which seeks to attract new industries, particularly from China.

On his part, Li reaffirmed China's willingness to maintain friendly and cooperative relationship between China and La Paz, the capital of Bolivia.

The Chinese ambassador also extended an invitation to Cocarico on behalf of the Chinese government for an official visit to China to explore potential sources of investment.

The trip is expected to take place in May 2013, said Li.
