Premiered in Berlin in 2011, contemporary dance Milk&Bread / Rice&Water, presented by Germany's Tanzcompagnie Rubato in collaboration with Chinese dancers, explores the "foreignness of bodies," to examine if there is a dimension of the "foreign" that does not separate human beings, but instead connects them.
