What do you think about the smoking ban that may affect all indoor public spaces in Shanghai?

Local authorities plan to expand the smoking ban to all indoor public spaces, including office buildings. The current law still permits smoking in some indoor areas, such as restaurant smoking sections, although office buildings of State-owned enterprises, government agencies and other public facilities including hospitals, campuses, Internet cafes, entertainment venues and hotels' public areas are now required to be smoke free under current legislation. Local law enforcement authorities hope tougher punishments for violations will improve compliance with the city's smoke-control laws which were put into effect in 2009. What do Internet users think?
