Thieves stole a safe from a jewelry store in Yinling Xingwang Mall, Daxing district Thursday, the Legal Mirror reported.

Employees discovered the door of the store was unlocked at 8 am Thursday and the safe was gone. Police closed the mall for investigation and all stores were required to suspend business for one day.

The amount of money involved is still unknown, but surveillance video showed the suspect entered the mall through a fire exit.
