Leading Pheu Thai MP and "Red Shirt" co-leader Korkaew Pikulthong was released temporarily from jail Friday under his parliamentary immunity to attend House meeting.

He was sent to jail on Nov. 30 after the Criminal Court revoked his bail on terrorism charge.

Several anti-establishment Red Shirt supporters, including Red Shirt co-leader Thida Thavornseth greeted him upon his release at the court.

Korkaew was the co-leader of the Red Shirt group who seized Bangkok's business zone for months in 2010 in an attempt to pressure the then Abhisit Vejjajiva government to resolve the parliament. Most of the Red Shirt leaders and hundred of other Red Shirt supporters were later pressed terrorism charges.

Talking to reporters after his release, Korkaew stood firm that he will continue to join the lineup on the Red Shirt's political stage but will be more careful in his words to avoid future problems.
