Geely honored "2012 Annual China Automobile Enterprise Public Service Award"

On December 22, 2012, hosted by Southern Newspaper Media Group and organized by Southern Metropolis Daily and China Fortune, the "2012 Annual China Automobile Enterprise Public Service Award" ceremony & the Forum on Public Images of China's Automotive Industry was held in Guangzhou. Yang Xueliang, the Chief Public Relations Officer of Geely, attended the ceremony and received the "2012 Annual China Automobile Enterprise Public Service Award" on behalf of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group.

The "2012 Annual China Automobile Enterprise Public Service Award" takes responsibility, caring and harmonious development as its theme and pays tributes to Chinese automobile enterprises that earnestly fulfill their social responsibilities, lend due care and support to social undertakings, embrace social responsibility, and make efforts to achieve harmonious development between enterprises and the society.

In his speech at the Forum, Yang remarked that Geely has made great achievements in a series of public good like automobile talents education and training, welfare donation and Chinese culture and arts promotion. Still, as an auto enterprise, Geely should give priority to good products and remain committed to the purposes of safety, energy saving and environmental protection while improving its product quality. With a view to making innovations, the Group aims at creating more added value to the society with more environmentally-friendly and energy-efficient technologies. Geely will actively incorporate public awareness to the company strategy and bring into play of its potentials by mobilizing the participation of dealers, suppliers, employees, customers as well as students and faculties under the Geely education program. By doing this can we contribute our share to the public good and achieve a virtuous cycle between public welfare and company interests, Yang added.
