Wang Pengrui, who recruited 330 students into an illegal justice school in Fangshan district and earned nearly 20 million yuan ($3 million) between 2003 and 2010, was sentenced to life imprisonment, the Legal Mirror reported Saturday.

He promised the students excellent jobs in public security departments, and collected different amounts of tuition according to how good the job was. Students received fake diplomas and low level jobs after graduating. Wang spent the cash for personal items, including cars.
