A woman passes by a Golden Jaguar restaurant, a seafood buffet chain, in Shanghai Thursday. China Central Television recently reported that some restaurants were using "fake shark fins," gelatin substitutes that contain toxins to human livers and kidneys, in their shark fin soups, and Golden Jaguar was identified by some CCTV viewers as being involved. The restaurant operator declined to comment on the issue, but the soup was removed from the menus in several of its outlets Thursday. Photo: IC
