Honeywell Aerospace said Wednesday it had signed a cooperation agreement with Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) Engine to set up a strategic leadership team for engine development, in a bid to supervise the planning and successful implementation of existing and future engine programs across the business and general aviation industry.

Under the terms of the agreement, leaders from Honeywell and AVIC Engine will meet regularly to discuss long-term cooperative opportunities for small, commercial propulsion systems and to guide business execution.
