At least seven people were wounded Wednesday morning when a suicide bombing hit an army bus in western Afghan capital of Kabul, police said.
"The army bus was running along a road in Pul-e-Sorkh area at about 7:15 a.m. local time when a militant detonated his explosion near the vehicle," a police official told Xinhua anonymously.
He said the injured included six army officers and a civilian.
Police work to keep people from gathering at the scene for fears that there might be a second blast.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital, the official added.
