Chris John, Indonesia's WBA featherweight champion, is to depend his title against Japanese fighter Satoshi Bazooka Hasono on April 14 in Indonesia, Chris said here on Tuesday.

The Indonesian fighter promised that he would apply a hard fighting against Hasono during the fight at Tennis Indoor Senayan in Jakarta.

"I will show an interesting and hard fighting," he was quoted by Antara news wire as saying.

Chris has a record of win for 48 times and has never been defeated for the last 10 years, while his opponent Hasono has won for 23 times and been defeated for two times.

Chris was optimistic to win the fight, saying that he always win against scores of Japanese fighter.

Chris has undergone a training for two months in Perth, Australia with his coach Craig Christian.

On Wednesday, Chris will depart for Pert for a specific training for facing Hasono.
