A Chinese high school student surnamed Gao was admitted to the University of Rochester in the US Wednesday, and his admission letter was folded like an airplane, a move showing the school's appreciation of Gao's special talent.
Four years ago, Gao developed a fondness for paper airplanes and has since been honing his skills. Today, he can fold over 100 different models. In his college application, Gao explained his fascination with paper airplanes. The school was charmed by his passion and mentioned in the letter that the B-2 paper airplane he made was really impressive.
"I have never seen an admission letter like this. It was so special and I was moved," said Gao's teacher, who helped him with the application.
