Seven children were injured in hand grenade attack at a school in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi on Saturday morning, local media reported.
Samaa TV said that the incident happened at about 11:20 a.m. ( local time) when some unknown gunmen hurled hand grenade at a school located in Baldia Town area of Karachi, and fled to an unidentified location.
Police said that the school's owner was associated with a political party and the attack was launched on the basis of political differences.
The injured kids were shifted to a nearby hospital where three of them were said to be in critical condition.
No group took credit for the attack yet.
The police cordoned off the area and kicked off a search operation.
