South Korean golfer Choi Ho-sung won Enjoy Jakarta Professional Golf Association (PGA) championship after finally carding total shots of 19 below par in a tough final match here on Sunday.

Choi won the championship that provides one million US dollars of rewards after the match was halted for three hours due to bad weather in the Emeralda Golf Club, designed by legendary golfer Arnold Palmer.

Choi brushed aside his contenders Juvic Pagunsan from the Philippines and Japanese Kaname Yokoo to seize the title.

"I still can't believe it. I thought the tournament could not be settled today. I myself do not want to repeat it all over again tomorrow," Choi said after the match.

The Enjoy Jakarta PGA Championship tournament, fully supported by OneAsia and Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO), began on March 28. It was the second leg after the first one held by OneAsia and JGTO in Thailand between March 14 and 17.
