The Asian Development Bank (ADB) said in its annual report released on Monday that it had approved $21.57 billion in financing operations, including co-financing, in 2012.

In 2012, the Manila-based lender's operations were concentrated in five core areas: infrastructure, environment, regional cooperation and integration, finance sector development, and education.
