An international exhibition on medicine and pharmacy, the Vietnam Medi-Pharm 2013, kicked off in capital Hanoi on Wednesday, attracting domestic and foreign companies from 30 countries and territories.

The expo, the 20th of this kind ever held in Vietnam, provided large venues for both local and foreign manufacturers and traders in the fields to showcase the world latest medical and pharmacy technologies and products, seek partnership and expand their business.

During the 4-day main expo, other shows on similar area of business will be held including the Sixth Vietnam International Hospital Exhibition, the Second Vietnam International Dental Exhibition and the 7th Exhibition on Chinese medical equipment and pharmacy (China Medi-Pharm 2013).

The events will last until May 11.
