A fifth grade primary student in Guangdong Province launched a business helping others write love letters, which sparked debate online about how education about sex and romance should be handled in school.

The young girl behind the business says she's ready to help anyone who feels shy about expressing their love or doesn't know how to write a touching letter, and can produce an epistle worthy of Cyrano de Bergerac in under an hour, the Nandu Daily reported on Wednesday. She added that for a good relationship, you should send a love letter once a day.

The budding entrepreneur charges five yuan ($0.81) per letter, but offers special packages for a month, at 100 yuan, or a year, at 1,000. The newspaper pointed out this is not the first example of such business. Many Web users and parents said that the move reflected the increased maturity of Chinese kids and the problems triggered by puppy love in school.

Education experts suggested that the Chinese parents shouldn't treat puppy love, which has become more and more common among young teenagers in China, as worrisome as writing love letters is just a way of expressing normal feelings. But they still need to educate the children to set up the proper view of love.

News website people.com.cn commented on Wednesday that the parents should interact with the girl more often and provide proper sex education to their daughter.
