"It shouldn't matter to you if I spray these pineapples with pesticide, as you'll remove the skin before you eat them."

A customer complained to the Oriental Morning Post that a worker at a supermarket in Gubei, Changning district sprayed pesticide on fruit on May 14. When the customer questioned his actions, the worker said it didn't matter. When contacted by the media, the company promised to deal with the worker, who it said had not operated according to the rules. It added that it had withdrawn from sale all  products involved.
