Two foreigners die while descending from Qomolangma

Two foreigners, one Bangladeshi and another Korean died while descending from the summit of Qomolangma Monday night, a Nepali government official informed Tuesday.

According to Gyanendra Shrestha, an official at mountaineering department at the Ministry of Tourism, two dead foreigners have been identified as Mohammad Khalid Hussain of Bangladesh and Sung- Seo of Korea.

Both of them were descending from the Qomolangma summit without the use of oxygen. Hussain died at the height of 8,600 meters and Sung died at the height of 8,000 meters, inside the tent, officials said.

In this season, seven mountaineers have already died while attempting to scale the Qomolangma.

Meanwhile, Nepali film actress Nisha Adhikari climbed the Qomolangma on Tuesday morning. Shrestha informed that she reached the summit about 8 am. She has set the record of the first Nepali actress to summit the Qomolangma.
