Last year Internet users donated 1 million yuan($ 160,000) to Lu Ruoqing, a girl with leukemia who planned to give up medical treatment because of high medical fees. On Sunday, the girl from Qingdao, Shandong Province, posted a thanks to all the people who have helped her.

"All the things and people that I met will be my most precious treasure," she said, noting that one year has passed and she survived the disease. Her post drew thousands of comments from Weibo users,  who said that Lu's story gave hope to helpless people.
