Beijing will have four new subway lines open to the public by next year. They are the second section of Line 6, Line 7, Line 14 and the west section of Line 15, the Beijing Youth Daily reported.

The second section of Line 6 will connect Dongxiaoying in Tongzhou district and Caofang in Chaoyang district. Line 7, which will open by the end of next year, will link the Beijing West Railway Station and Jiaohuachang in the southeast Chaoyang district, through Ciqikou, Shuangjing and Baiziwan. In addition, the west section of Line 14, the last three stations of Line 10, the Changping Line and Line 8 will be in operation by the end of this year.
