A 6.7-magnitude earthquake jolted Nantou County of Taiwan at 1:43 pm Sunday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter, with a depth of 9 km, was monitored at about 23.9 degrees north latitude and 120.9 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.
