A male student died in an accident at a driving training school in Minhang district Tuesday morning, xinmin.cn reported.

A student driver mistakenly stepped on the gas after a near miss with another vehicle and ran over the male student. Witnesses said the instructor, who was required to be present, was not in the car at the time.
