The gold price in Hong Kong moved down 100 HK dollars to close at 12,750 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.

The price is equivalent to 1,379.20 US dollars a troy ounce, down 10.82 US dollars at the latest exchange rate of 1 US dollar against 7.76 HK dollars.
