A music fan recorded Hungarian-born pianist and conductor András Schiff's recital at Shanghai Concert Hall on June 14 and shared the recording on his microblog for free, sparking a media frenzy. Shanghai Concert Hall expressed concern over the act of piracy. With increasingly sophisticated technology, unauthorized recordings of concerts are set to be increasingly common.
