Veteran rockers The Rolling Stones will be playing for over two hours at this year's Glastonbury festival, it has been revealed.
The Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts is a performing arts festival that has been held at the end of June near Pilton, Somerset, England since 1970. It's one of the most prestigious events of its kind in the UK, and this year takes place from Wednesday, June 26 to Sunday, June 30.
And one of the biggest names this year will be veteran rockers The Rolling Stones, who recently dropped their latest album "GRRR!"
The full stage times for all the bands at this year's festival have now been announced and it has been revealed that The Rolling Stones, who take to the stage on Saturday night, will be playing from 9:30 pm to 11:45 pm (local time), a total of two hours and 15 minutes.
By comparison, Friday's headliners Arctic Monkeys and Sunday's headliners Mumford and Sons will only be playing for 90 minutes each.
The duration of the Stones headline set becomes even more impressive when one considers Mick Jagger, front man of the Stones, is 69, compared to Arctic Monkeys' front man Alex Turner's 27 years.
The Rolling Stones are currently on a North America/UK tour, with upcoming gigs including Monday at Washington DC's Verizon Center then on July 6 and 13 in London's Hyde Park.
