China on Wednesday successfully conducted take-off and landing exercises of J-15 fighter jets on the country's first aircraft carrier, the Liaoning.

This is the second time such exercises were conducted since a successful jet landing in November last year.

The Liaoning, which set sail for a first sea trial on June 9, has conducted a series of exercises for carrier-borne aircraft.
