Cuba's national volleyball team Sunday in Bremen, Germany, will try to avoid being defeated by the German team, in the second and last match between both squads from Group B in the 24th Volleyball FIVB (International Federation of Volleyball) World League.

After losing last Saturday in three sets with set scores of 18-25, 19-25 and 16-25, the young Cuban team will try to achieve its first victory and first point in the league, which this Sunday closes the third competence weekend.

So far, the Cuban team led by Orlando Samuels has five accumulated defeats. As host, Cuba lost the first four against Serbia, with same scores of 1-3, and the fifth one against Italy, as visitor, with scores of 0-3.

Considering their bad performance, it is expected that Samuels will make changes, as it occurred in the previous match, when the Cuban coach availed the players in the bench.

In the next two weeks, Cuba will meet Russia and Iran to end the World League's inter-continental stage. The matches will be played at Havana's Sports City Coliseum.

The current ranking in Group B is led by Italy with 15 points, 5 victories and one defeat, followed by Russia (13 points, 5 victories and one defeat), Serbia (9 points, 3 victories and 2 defeats), Germany (7 points, 2 victories and 2 defeats) Iran (1 point, zero victories and 3 defeats) and Cubans (zero points, zero victories and 5 defeats).
