A local court sentenced a man to four years in prison Monday for causing a traffic accident that killed five maintenance workers and injured three others working on the Chongqi Bridge. The then-18-year-old driver was picking up his glasses when he lost control of the car. The court gave him a lenient sentence because he called the police immediately after the accident.
