The mayor of Anshun in Guizhou Province is under investigation for suspected disciplinary violations, according to an online exposé in a real-name letter, the provincial commission for disciplinary inspection said on Tuesday.

The tip-off, by a local developer named Lu Xuanjie, charged that Wang Shujun, the mayor, had embezzled millions of yuan of public funds and demanded bribes.
