India has decided to resume arms supplies to Nepal following the completion of integration of former Maoist combatants into the Nepal Army, reported local media Saturday.

The Tribune daily quoted unnamed sources as saying Friday that India is providing with logistic support required by Nepal for the Constituent Assembly elections on November 19, including 700 transport vehicles.

Once the election in Nepal is completed, the two governments will discuss military requirement of Nepal, said the report.

India and Nepal have a bilateral consultative group which meets regularly on bilateral cooperation on security issues.

India stopped arms sale to Nepal after the 2005 royal coup.
