Police warned local residents Sunday not to buy amusement park tickets from scalpers after a father and his son were caught with phony tickets to Playa Maya, the sister park to Shanghai Happy Valley.
The pair bought the tickets, which had a face value of 150 yuan ($24.44), from a scalper Thursday at Sheshan Station for 100 yuan each. However, when they tried to use the tickets, they were told they were fake.
