New Kuwaiti cabinet sworn in before Emir

The newly-appointed Kuwaiti Cabinet under Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah took oath before Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber on Sunday, according to KUNA news agency.

The new cabinet line-up includes Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as deputy prime minister and foreign minister, and Sheikh Mohamed Khalid Al-Ahamad Al-Sabah as deputy prime minister and interior minister.

The new line-up also groups Mustafa Jassim Al-Shimali as deputy prime minister and oil minister, Sheik Salem Abdul Aziz Al- Saud Al-Sabah as deputy prime minister and finance minister and Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah as deputy prime minister and defense minister.

The formation also includes Anas Khalid Al-Saleh as minister of commerce and industry, Thikra Ayed Al-Rashidi as social affairs and labor minister, Rola Abdullah Dashti as minister of state for national assembly affairs and for planning and development affairs.

Salem Mutheeb Al-Utheina was appointed as minister of state for municipal affairs and Salman Sabah Salem Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah as minister of information and minister of state for youth affairs, Shareeda Abdullah Al-Muosherji as minister of justice, Awqaf as minister of Islamic affairs and Abdul AzizAbdul Latif Al-Ibrahim as minister of public works, electricity and water.

Essa Ahmed Al-Khanadri was appointed as minister communications, Sheikh Mohamed Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah will be minister of state for cabinet affairs and minister of health, and Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf will be minister of education and higher education.
