Over 60 percent of bedding products did not meet national standards when tested by the Beijing Consumer Association, the Beijing Morning Post reports.

Staffers from the association randomly bought 41 samples of bedsheets, pillowcases and blanket covers and subjected them to test washes; 25 failed to meet standards for color fastness, 11 had less fiber than marked and 17 samples shrank when washed.
