The Sino-US professional basketball star contest will kick off in Hohhot, the capital city of northern China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, on Oct. 3.

NBA stars Rafer Alston, Yao Ming's former teammate from Houston Rockets, and White Chocolate Jason Williams will spearhead the US team against Jilin Northeast Tigers from CBA (China Basketball Association).

The contest is sponsored by China-US People's Friendship Association, China Basketball Association and Hohhot Sports Bureau. .
