Choummaly Saygnasone, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and president of Laos, will pay an official visit to China from September 26 to 30.

Huang Huaguang, spokesman of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) , made the announcement here Friday.

Huang said Choummaly is paying the visit at the invitation of General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
