Liu Jian, consul-general of the People's Republic of China in Los Angeles, recently met with Evelyn Olson Lamden, chairman of the San Diego Symphony, Edward Gill, CEO, and Tommy Phillips, director of Artistic Planning.

Lamden and Gill introduced their team and the preparation of the China tour and said that all the members are looking forward to performing in China.

They also expressed their gratitude for the great support from consulate.

Liu said cultural exchange is a significant part of Sino-US relations and will definitely make contributions as both countries seek to build a new type of great power relationship.

He also welcomed the symphony to perform in China and wished the show a great success.
