Myanmar Ministry of Commerce will cooperate with Japanese University Nishogakusha in human resources development in the country, official media reported Monday.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the move was signed between Director General U Hla Maw Oo of Directorate of Trade and President Watanabe Kazunori of Nishogakusha University, here on Sunday, said the New Light of Myanmar.

U Win Myint was also presented honorary doctoral degree by Nishogakusha university.

In June this year, U Win Myint visited Japan and observed Nishogakusha University in Tokyo.

Meanwhile, Engineering higher education promotion plan was jointly implemented by Myanmar Ministry of Science and Technology and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to enhance engineering higher education sector in the country.
