Police in Guangzhou are hunting for a man who stabbed his neighbor during a row triggered over a used tampon, Shenzhen Television reported.

The man is suspected of stabbing neighbor Cheng Liping after he was hit by a tampon near his home that had fallen down from Cheng's 4th floor bathroom windowsill late on October 4.

According to the report, Cheng's wife had placed the used tampon in front of the window while taking a shower, when it blew off and landed on the unidentified man.

Cheng engaged with the suspect after he became verbally abusive and began throwing stones at Cheng's window. Cheng is receiving medical treatment for his injuries.

A man was arrested for raping a 16-year-old girl and then throwing her into a well twice in Mengcheng county, East China's Anhui Province, the Xinhua News Agency reported.

The 29-year-old suspect surnamed Li faces charges of rape and attempted murder after he allegedly forced a young woman surnamed Sun to have sex at knifepoint, slashed her neck and threw her into a well on October 8.

Li pushed her back in after her returned to the scene and found that an injured Sun had remarkably climbed out.

Taiwan police removed the decomposing body of a woman from the home of her mentally-handicapped daughter, who for three days was unaware she had passed away, chinanews.com reported.

Neighbors called police to the apartment about the smell on October 13, where the daughter explained that her mother surnamed Lin had been on the ground for three days but thought she was sleeping.
