Iran's senior lawmaker Alaeddin Boroujerdi said Iran's train of nuclear activities will never stop, Press TV reported on Saturday.

"Practically, Iran has mastered all aspects of this science ( nuclear technology) and it is to the benefit of the West to reach an agreement with Iran," said Boroujerdi, chairman of National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's Majlis ( parliament).

Therefore, "Iran's train of peaceful nuclear activities will never stop, and the United States and the Western countries have comprehended this fact very well," Boroujerdi was quoted as saying.

Boroujerdi's remarks came as the intensive talks between Iran and the world powers continued in Geneva for the third day on Saturday.

The ground has been prepared for easing the sanctions against Iran, he said, emphasizing Tehran's determination to resolve the conflicts over the country's nuclear issue.

The ongoing nuclear talks is a litmus test for the United States and Western countries to prove their sincerity, he added.

Iran and the major world powers began crucial talks on the Islamic republic's nuclear issue in Geneva on Thursday.

Heavyweight foreign ministers from the negotiating countries have joined the nuclear talks in Geneva in the hope to reach a deal with Iran.
